Hello Festividder! Thank you so much for your gift! :-) I have enclosed some notes about my preferences, such as they are, and I hope that they are useful to you and align with your interests!

General interests: I particularly enjoy ensemble vids and vids that are focused on non-primary characters or relationships, or vids about the backdrop / aesthetic / broad arc of the show. I also enjoy vids that have a wide variety of types of shots - face close-ups, wide scenery shots, detail shots, etc. I generally prefer not to have lip syncing or intercut dialogue.

Music tastes: I enjoy a wide variety of types of music, and being introduced to great new songs & artists I've never heard before. Some of my favorite genres & musicians include (in no particular order):

• Heavy metal & Punk (System of a Down, REM, Nirvana…)
• Irish / Scottish Folk (Malinky, Kate Rusby, John Doyle, Great Big Sea, Halali...)
• Appalachian folk / bluegrass (Lady Maisery, Wailin’ Jennys, Carolina Chocolate Drops...)
• Indie folk (Grace Petrie, Indigo Girls, Dar Williams...)
• Thoughtful country (Dolly Parton, Dixie Chicks, Kacey Musgraves...)
• Blues / “Fusion” dance music (Emilíana Torrini, Keb Mo, Tracy Chapman...)
• Pop music (Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, Little Mix...)
• Musicals

Fandoms:

• Aggretsuko: Something about the female friendships in this show would be enjoyable. Or something anti-capitalist. Or Restuko going off. DNW: Haida, especially not Haida/Retsuko.
• Black Girl in a Big Dress: I appreciate how this show addresses racism around Victorian reenactment, as well as the pretty outfits and the delightful performance by Aydrea Walden as the awkward cookie of a protagonist. I would enjoy a vid of the Victorian ridiculousness, or her being awkward and adorable. Really anything you’d like to make for this would be cool!
• Carmen Sandiego: My top choice (if I had one) would be a Carmen Sandiego / Julia Argent vid! Alternately, I would enjoy team / found family feelings! Or Ivy and Zack being goofballs.
• Cutthroat Kitchen: Alton Brown is one kinky dude in this show; something celebrating that would be fun! Alternately, food-porn could be fun, or wacky kitchen hijinks.
• Dark Matter: Something anti-capitalist would be neat - maybe a labor song cover? An action-y vid or SPAAAACE vid would also be fun! Or something about Android (shipped with Portia or character study). DNW: focus on Five or shipping Five with anyone.
• Hilda: :heart_eyes: I would love a vid focused on David, Frida, the mom, Alfur, or one of the recurring characters, or an ensemble vid of the main characters going on adventures. But really, I'd be down for whatever. I’m super excited for the second season coming out in December!
• Motherland: Fort Salem: I would love a vid focused on the evolution of the Bellwether unit’s friendship over the course of the season! Or a vid looking at the magic system. Or an action-fighty vid. Or a mushroom vid!
• The Great British Bake Off: My top preference would be a vid of wholesome baking, emphasizing the diversity of bakers, celebrating their triumphs and acknowledging their failures. Or Mel & Sue being themselves! Or food-porn.

P.S. If someone is reading this and wanting to make a treat, I would love receiving treats for any of the following fandoms in addition to those listed above:

• Sakeru Gum Commercials. This is such a cute story? A plot summary vid would be enjoyable, but really I’d be happy to receive anything. I don’t even know what would be possible! Surprise me!
• Unicorn Store. I really enjoy that this is a manic pixie dream girl narrative that’s actually focused on her. And that doesn’t force her to become more “realistic” or “adult”. I love the celebration of creativity and joyful exuberance. The love story is also cute <3 I would enjoy receiving a treat celebrating those aspects of the movie.
